Job Summary
Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction, review plans, schedule/install labor, cost forecasting and procurement, ensure contractual obligations, and safety compliance. Manage subcontractors and vendors, maintain professional rapport with architects/engineers/building owners/installers and suppliers, attend project meetings, and close-out documentation. Requires 7+ years in commercial construction, 2+ years in a PM role, and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management (or equivalent experience). Proficient in project management software, able to read construction documents, and possess strong supervisory, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience working directly in the Commercial construction industry or similar
- 2+ years operating in a previous Project Manager capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from accredited university or college, or equivalent years of experience and/or credentials
- Proficiency with Project Management Software and Takeoffs
- Ability to read and interpret Construction Documents, Plans and Specifications
- Good interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills (written and oral)
- Must have supervisory skills to plan, direct, organize, and control the activities of others with limited supervision
- Decisive individual with a strong mechanical aptitude
- Good organization skills a must
