Job Summary
Construction Project Manager overseeing banking construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Interfaces with estimating, operations, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders to coordinate schedules, budgets, permitting, and execution. Based in Warren, MI with travel to project sites and occasional out-of-state travel. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings/specifications/contracts, developing scopes and bid packages, coordinating permitting, planning and managing projects through completion, evaluating costs and change orders, managing subcontractors and schedules, coordinating activities with clients/owners/subcontractors, conducting site visits, maintaining documentation and reporting, and building long-term client relationships. Requires 3+ years in commercial construction PM, GC experience, ability to read construction documents, Excel proficiency, and ability to work full-time from Warren office with hybrid remote option.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
- Experience working for a General Contractor
- Experience managing commercial or retail construction projects
- Experience reviewing and interpreting architectural and structural drawings
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret construction plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
- Experience building and maintaining client relationships throughout the construction process
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience using construction project management software
