Job Summary
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning and leading construction projects from start to finish, including supervising all vendors and contractors. Key responsibilities include developing project timelines, managing land development and permitting, ensuring compliance with regulations, monitoring project status and budgets, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires strong knowledge of the solar and construction industry, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage staffing and schedules effectively. This position also includes directing Site Superintendents and Subcontractors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Minimum of three years’ experience in planning, design and/or construction management of photovoltaic systems preferred
- Up to four years of experience in construction management or solar industry preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge in solar and construction industry
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices
- Computer and related software knowledge
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to prepare reports, budgets, and maintain records
