Construction Project Engineer (Mechanical/ Electrical) - Industrial

Job Summary
Review IFC/shop drawings, provide technical support for mechanical or electrical systems, coordinate design and installation issues with CSA/MEP/vendors/consultants, prepare and track RFIs with timely responses, ensure installations follow drawings/specifications/safety procedures, track contractor progress and resources, assist QA/QC with inspections and testing, validate materials and equipment, support equipment testing and commissioning activities, document test results and ensure project standards compliance, prepare daily/weekly progress reports, maintain logs for materials/inspection requests/testing records, provide input for contractor progress claims and quantities verification, and assist in as-built drawings and handover documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 3–6 years of experience in industrial or commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of installation standards, codes, and construction sequencing
- Familiarity with Vietnamese codes and basic international standards (IEC/NEC, ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA depending on discipline)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills
- Ability to work full-time onsite
