Job Summary
Construction Project Engineer (Indiana) responsible for managing construction projects with a focus on safety, schedule adherence, and contract compliance. Roles include interacting with client representatives, A/E representatives, and contractors; maintaining project logs and documentation; tracking submittals and procurement; ensuring design documents stay current with on-site construction; and providing technical input to support field activities. Requires 4-year engineering or construction degree and 5-8 years of relevant experience; proficient with Prolog Sky, Bluebeam, Textura CPM, Sage Construction and Real Estate, and Primavera P6; location in Indianapolis, IN; on-site responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year engineering or construction degree or equivalent training and experience
- 5-8 years of relevant construction engineering experience
- Advance knowledge of construction engineering technology, building codes and standards
- Complete understanding of the interdependence and relationship between function units
- Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Able to manage software solutions utilized to include Prolog Sky, Bluebeam, Textura CPM, Sage Construction and Real Estate, and scheduling (Primavera P6)
- Is a problem solver and can easily execute a situation diagnosis
- Very familiar with construction documents
- Can provide technical input in support of field activities
- Has a clear understanding of the technical aspects of all construction disciplines
- Needs minimal direction and supervision
- Can train subordinate engineers
