Job Summary
Coordinate project information, distribute authorizations, and ensure contract document logs remain current in real time. Prepare status reports for RFIs and submittals, write bid package scopes of work, and issue Requests for Quotations to trade contractors. Update project schedules using CPM techniques, document field quality activities, and establish project quality files. Assist in coordinating self-perform work, supporting craft labor operations, material logistics, and equipment deployment while collecting and reporting productivity data. Review self-perform scopes of work for clarity and efficiency, and prepare change management reports and cost estimates. Utilize construction management platforms like CMiC, Bluebeam, and Procore to support field reporting and labor tracking.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field
- 3+ years with a large trade contractor, construction management or general contractor organization
- OSHA 10-hour certified
- Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
Desired Qualifications
- MS degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- OSHA 30-hour certified
- Basic MEP Knowledge
- Understanding of Contract Document & Specifications
- Knowledge of CMiC and Bluebeam
- Experience working in a self-performing environment
- Union experience
- Estimating experience
