Construction Project Engineer II

Job Summary
Coordinate project information, distribute authorizations, and ensure contract document logs remain current in real time. Prepare status reports on RFIs and submittals, write scopes of work for bid packages, and issue Request for Quotations to trade contractors. Update project schedules using CPM techniques, document field quality activities, and maintain project quality files. Collaborate with the onsite equipment planner to coordinate delivery and staging, work with accounting on billing, and utilize CMiC, Bluebeam, and Procore for field reporting. Collect and analyze productivity data for self-perform labor crews while assisting in coordinating field execution to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field
- 3+ years with a large trade contractor, construction management or general contractor organization
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- OSHA 10-hour certified required
- Understanding of Contract Document & Specifications
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 30-hour preferred
- Basic MEP Knowledge
- Knowledge of CMiC and Bluebeam preferred
- Experience working in a self-performing environment (having spent time working for a self-performing general contractor)
- Union experience a plus
- Estimating experience a plus
