Job Summary
Coordinate all phases of healthcare construction projects from design through closeout, managing documentation, schedules, and budgets. Interface with designers, contractors, and hospital representatives to resolve field issues while ensuring compliance with HCAI and OSHPD regulations. Conduct site walks to verify installation per plans and support infection control and safety protocols. Assist with bid reviews, procurement, and contract administration to facilitate the safe delivery of projects within active healthcare environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in construction or project engineering
- Experience in healthcare facility projects in California
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain detailed records, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to HCAI/OSHPD plan review and inspection processes
- Familiarity with California Building Code (Title 24) and healthcare construction regulations
- Experience working in occupied or operational healthcare facilities
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and their coordination
- Self-motivated and eager to learn healthcare construction management practices
