The role includes compiling comprehensive cost estimates based on preliminary site plans and observations from site surveys, reviewing designs for accuracy, coordinating with engineers to enhance project designs, and leading ad-hoc cost studies. Candidates should have extensive experience in electrical estimating and pre-construction services, along with strong analytical abilities and effective communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years of relevant work experience in EPC, GC, or construction environment
- Strong emphasis on electrical estimating and preconstruction services
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. labor market requirements
- Ability to select supply sources and negotiate prices
- Strong human relations skills to interface with cross-functional teams
