Construction Project Coordinator

Job Summary
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for multiple construction and restoration jobs while coordinating office and field resources, including crew assignments, subcontractors, and material deliveries. Conduct on-site field meetings with customers to review scopes and progress, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the project duration. Track daily progress, manage job documentation and change orders, and coordinate with insurance adjusters and vendors to ensure smooth claims processes. Monitor project budgets, ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes, and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. Report directly to the Disaster Restoration General Manager on project status and resource needs.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in construction project coordination, restoration project management, general contracting, or a similar role
- Strong working knowledge of residential and/or light commercial construction processes and sequencing
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, calm demeanor when dealing with customers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to occasionally attend early morning or evening customer meetings
- Willingness to travel between our Defiance, Lima, and Toledo, Ohio locations as needed
Desired Qualifications
- experience with construction or restoration software (ServiceTitan, Jobber, Dash, or Xactimate)
- Previous experience in the insurance restoration industry (water, fire, storm, or mold damage)
- Either have or willing to get IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT etc.) or other construction/restoration training
- Familiarity with local permitting processes and building codes in Northwest Ohio
