Job Summary
Construction Project Coordinator to support the VA Medical Center project in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Lead planning, design, and construction phases, conduct site visits, develop maintenance plans, coordinate with hospital staff and contractors, manage project budgets and schedules, ensure compliance with hospital building codes and safety standards, oversee quality control of mechanical systems, and coordinate tenant relocation. Requires at least an Associate's degree and 10+ years of technical project coordination experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and OSHA Training; Spanish is preferred. The role emphasizes integration of construction work with hospital operations, reporting on progress and risks, and ensuring timely completion.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Arts or Science
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in technical project coordination
- Completed 10-hour OSHA Safety Training
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in document control, project management, and updating project schedules
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred
