Job Summary
Coordinate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and progress reports for construction and infrastructure projects. Assist Project Managers with planning, procurement, contractor coordination, material tracking, and schedule monitoring to ensure delivery on time and within budget. Maintain project filing systems, manage document control procedures, and support project closeout activities including collection of record documentation. Coordinate communication between clients, contractors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and project team members. Participate in project meetings, prepare records, and track action items. Occasional site visits and field coordination activities may be required. This partial camp-based position supports the Mining Group Lead on a remote mine site access road project in Northwest BC with 2-week on/2-week off shifts during construction season.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Willingness to travel occasionally within British Columbia
- Camp shifts are typically 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off during the construction season
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in construction coordination, contract administration, document control, scheduling, procurement, and client communication
- Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering, Building Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Two to five years of related experience in construction project coordination, contract administration, consulting engineering, or a similar environment
- Eligible for registration with ASTTBC or EGBC
- Familiarity with project management and document control software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar programs
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Flexibility, organizational, and time management skills
