Job Summary
Support Construction Project Managers in planning, organizing, and executing construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Assist with project schedules, budget tracking, and forecasts while identifying and escalating risks. Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, daily reports, change orders, and correspondence. Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery. Prepare project reports and status updates for clients and stakeholders. Manage subcontractor monthly invoicing and prepare pay applications and purchase orders. Assist with procurement, bid activities, and vendor selection. Ensure appropriate filing of paperwork to landlords for T.I. allowances. This hybrid/remote role requires candidates to reside near the Charlotte area in North Carolina and meet in person as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of construction coordination on multiple projects
- Four-year college degree in Construction Management major preferred but not required
- Progressive experience in assisting a construction team in a multi-unit retail or restaurant environment preferred but not required
