Job Summary
Construction Project Coordinator responsible for supporting project administration for a full-service asphalt paving contractor in the Greater Kansas City area. Key duties include managing project documentation (submittals, wage orders, change orders), acting as liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, producing regular progress reports, assisting with closeout documentation, and identifying and coordinating solutions to project challenges. Requires strong organizational and time-management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and effective written and verbal communication to interface with clients, subcontractors, and field teams. Occurs on-site with occasional site visits; standard Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, or Construction Office Coordinator preferred; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with project management software a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interface professionally with clients, subcontractors, and field teams
