Job Summary
Construction Project Controller for Miami, responsible for financial performance from buyout through closeout, developing cost-to-complete forecasts, managing cash flow, and aligning forecasting with project schedule and procurement. Partners with Project Managers and Superintendents to provide real-time financial insight, oversee AIA pay applications (G702/G703), manage lien releases, and ensure accurate job costing, reporting, and risk mitigation. Focus on maintaining margin, coordinating with field operations on progress and production reality, and eliminating financial and legal exposure through thorough documentation and timely billing and collections.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in construction financial management, Project controls, or similar role
- Strong understanding of job cost, contracts, and project lifecycle
- Proven ability to forecast and manage cost to complete
- Experience with AIA billing and lien release processes
- Ability to work cross functionally with operations and accounting teams
