Job Summary
Construction Project Administrator (on-site, Greater Kansas City Area) responsible for maintaining project files, drawing logs, submittal registers, and document control; prepare and submit monthly progress billings, pay applications, lien waivers, and sworn statements; track costs, budgets, and change orders; coordinate communication among field staff, subcontractors, architects, engineers, general contractors, and owners; assemble warranties and closeout documents; requires experience in construction billing and contract documentation with strong organization and communication skills; degree in construction management, business administration, or related field preferred; on-site with minimal travel, office-based duties, and site visits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in construction billing, accounts receivable, progress billings, lien waivers, or pay application processing
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced construction environment
- Proficiency with construction project management or billing software platforms preferred
- Knowledge of change order processing, submittal tracking, and contract documentation standards preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to coordinate across internal teams, subcontractors, and client representatives
