Job Summary
Project Accountant role in Edison, NJ, supporting a team of three other accountants. Responsibilities include administering monthly requisitions and payment applications; managing invoices, change orders, and collections; producing cash management and forecast reports for senior leadership; analyzing job costs and project profit/loss; reviewing/certifying payroll, insurance, and tax certificates; collaborating with project managers on billing, change orders, and project closeouts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of project accounting experience in the construction industry
- Experience with construction ERP software preferred; Viewpoint by Vista a plus; familiarity with Sage or ProCore valuable
