Job Summary
Represent the Principal's interests during construction activities on the Gold Coast, ensuring all works comply with safety, environmental, traffic, quality, and Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) requirements. Collaborate with Project Managers, Principal Contractors, and Contract Administrators to supervise day-to-day operations, manage emergency works photography, and maintain accurate records for compliance and program assurance. Direct or oversee construction operations focused on first response and immediate recovery activities while supporting DRFA eligibility assurance. This urgent 12-month contract offers strong compensation with likely extensions for candidates with government experience.
Required Qualifications
- Support DRFA eligibility assurance through oversight of compliant construction practices.
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers to ensure efficient use of resources, including personnel, plant, equipment, materials, and site access.
- Provide primary RADAR representation and compliance for the Region, including management of emergency works photography and completion records.
- Maintain accurate construction records to support DRFA compliance and program assurance.
- Government experience would be highly advantageous.
