Job Summary
Develop and implement overall project planning and programming, including status updates, program reporting, production controls, and critical path analysis. Create and maintain project plans, reports, charts, schedules, databases, and records to provide accurate information for decision-making. Analyze risks, resources, and curves while monitoring project programs, generating histograms, and tracking planned versus actual progress. Maintain the Project Master Schedule to identify opportunities at all levels and integrate multiple programmes to ensure accurate tracking and mitigation options. Present program status to leadership and stakeholders, assessing time-related impacts and providing mitigation strategies for key decisions. Requires 15+ years in construction with advanced Primavera P6 skills.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years' experience, in the construction industry, with experience on building/construction projects (commercial, residential, healthcare, Government)
- Experience in project planning, scheduling, project controls and program benchmarking
- Advanced Primavera P6 skills
- Be able to graphically represent program methodology, and present and communicate the program to internal and external stakeholders
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- High level of interpersonal, communication and people skills
- High attention to detail, excellent organisational and time management skills with problem solving ability
- Understand construction sequencing and methodologies
- The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work efficiently through clear directions from the leadership team on the project
Desired Qualifications
- Preferably, the candidate must be highly experienced in the use of Primavera P6
