Job Summary
The Planner assists the Project Manager with coordinating a multi-million dollar project portfolio, attending meetings to record minutes, managing contract documents, schedules, and estimates, expediting materials, and handling payments and close-out documentation. Responsibilities include preparing documents for meetings/bids, expediting orders, validating scope/schedule/budget changes with the project controls team, reviewing contractor payments, and maintaining records. Required qualifications include hands-on experience in construction-related fields, knowledge of cost/scheduling/estimating/purchasing, and the ability to interpret drawings; a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience is preferred, with a minimum of two years’ experience in construction or construction project management and proven multi-project management capability. Required Qualifications
- Experience in Construction, Construction Project Management, Facilities Management, or relevant Education/Certifications related to these fields.
- Knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles and techniques.
- Experience with accounting procedures.
- Knowledge of different construction methods and materials, and the ability to interpret design drawings and specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent experience in construction.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or construction project management.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
