Job Summary
Mobilize and demobilize jobs, oversee project schedules and manpower, and set direction for Installers/Technicians to drive productivity and profitability. Enforce company safety policies, perform quality control audits, and conduct weekly workforce schedule monitoring. Prepare project documentation including field work orders, electronic daily reports, and safety toolbox talks to ensure code compliance. Communicate project status and forecasts to the Project Manager while collaborating with Sales to outline scope and specifications. Proactively identify risks, document repairs, and coordinate with multiple departments to resolve issues and develop creative solutions. Coach and mentor technicians, train them on proper installation and inspection, and maintain strict accountability for all equipment and tools. Drive performance to complete projects under budget and on schedule, preparing and maintaining periodic budgets to achieve revenue objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience leading multiple crews on commercial construction job sites in one or more of the following trades: drywall, plumbing, insulation, masonry, waterproofing, joint sealant, firestopping
- experience leading up to 25 field employees across multiple job sites as a superintendent
- project experience on high-rise, educational, data center, hospital projects, retail, hotel, banking, residential, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Calendar
- Ability to learn various software systems used throughout the company
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent
- OSHA 30, or must obtain within first 30 days
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Working extended hours, including evenings and weekends may be required
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have a valid driver license
- Must pass drug screen, criminal background check and driver's license check
