Job Summary
Construction Observer for municipal projects will act as Resident Project Representative to assist Engineer in providing extensive observation of construction projects for water, sewer, and roadway works; attend pre-construction and weekly progress meetings; conduct on-site observations to ensure work complies with Contract Documents; maintain daily records and prepare reports; review payment applications with Contractor; prepare punch lists and assist with project closeout; requires high school diploma or equivalent and ability to pursue NICET Certifications; proficient in Word/Excel and strong written/verbal communication.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pursue NICET Certifications is must.
- ACI-Concrete Field Testing
- Ability to clarify and concisely express thoughts verbally and in written correspondence/reports/specifications.
