Job Summary
Construction Observer with 2–5 years of field experience will participate in pre-construction meetings, coordinate with project engineers, review plans, and maintain thorough documentation including daily and testing reports. Responsibilities include field coordination, safety protocol adherence, engaging with landowners and clients as needed, attending final inspections, preparing punch lists and as-built documentation, and assisting with monthly payment estimates. Proficiency in MS Office and PDF/Bluebeam is expected; travel to local project sites is common and overtime may be required. The role is primarily field-based on construction sites in Arkansas, with local travel and potential extended travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 2 to 5 years of construction observation experience
- Ability to read and comprehend project documents – plans, specifications, contracts, etc.
- Good communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and email using Outlook
- Proficiency with Adobe PDF and/or Bluebeam
