Job Summary
Construction turnaround roles in Empress, AB requiring pipefitters, welders, ironworkers, and labourers for the Aug. 7–Oct. 15, 2026 project. Responsibilities include piling, removal and replacement of equipment, installation of structural steel and piping, welding, rigging, and general material handling. Schedule is 6 days on, 1 day off with 8-hour days plus overtime; daily travel pay for bus transportation; mobilization/demobilization provided for workers over 125 km from site; LOA of $165 per day for non-locals. In-person attendance required; safety tickets required; standard site prerequisites include CSTS, WHMIS, H2S Alive, and welding-related credentials (CWB, B-Pressure). Proficiency in English and reliable transportation to site are essential. Required Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certificate
- CSTS 2020 or CSTS 09

- Valid driver’s license with clean 5-year driving abstract and under 6 demerits
