Job Summary
Construction Monitor sought by a multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm to observe construction activities, verify compliance with contract documents and specifications, identify installation defects, and produce daily reports. Responsibilities include traveling to sites, collaborating with clients, accepting project responsibility to see work through to completion, and contributing as part of a team to project success. Requires 1-3 years of inspection/construction monitoring experience, related college-level education, familiarity with building envelope components, and a valid driver’s license. Travel to San Jose/San Francisco Bay Area locations and Orange County, CA, with emphasis on residential, institutional, and commercial projects; benefit package includes health, dental, vision, Costco Card, and gym membership.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of inspection and construction monitoring experience
- 2 to 4-year college level education (architecture, civil engineering, or similar field a plus)
- Experience with roofing, waterproofing, stucco, siding, windows, sealants, building envelope areas
- Current driver's license and reliable transportation
