Job Summary
Conduct general pump care underground, build bulkheads, install fans, and shotcrete cut-and-groove Victaulic pipe. Perform any other duties assigned by the department. Requires one year of underground construction experience with a strong commitment to safety. Schedule involves two weeks on, two weeks off at a remote camp in northern Saskatchewan, working 12-hour days with possible unscheduled overtime. Fly-in/fly-out rotations from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year experience in an underground environment
- Construction experience preferably underground
- Strong work ethic
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety
- Good communication skills
- Positive and proactive attitude towards safety
- Drug (including marijuana) and alcohol substance testing is a requirement for all positions
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) weeks on, two (2) weeks off at our remote camp in northern Saskatchewan
- Working 12-hour days
- Possibility of unscheduled overtime required on occasion
- You will be required to fly in fly out of the site on designated days from a pick-up point in either Saskatoon, Prince Albert or La Ronge
