Job Summary
Construction Mechanics at Otis based in Canberra, ACT. Responsible for installation and modernisation of lifts, escalators and travellators, ensuring compliance with codes (SAA Lift Code AS1735, AS3000) and Otis specifications, and maintaining safety, quality, and environmental standards. Will travel across regional areas on project basis, work with Installers, Electricians, Adjusters, Trade Assistants & Field Engineers, attend handover and service inspections, address defects with the Project Manager, and pursue continuous improvement. Requires a Trade Certificate in Electrotechnology and/or Grade A Electrical License with an Industry White Card; experience in elevator industry preferred; ability to travel, work unsupervised, and communicate with stakeholders.
