Job Summary
Construction Mechanic (Central Region) responsibilities include performing detailed inspections, installations, and building repairs using standard trade-specific techniques; utilizing tools and equipment to complete installation and repair tasks; coordinating with trade-specific systems; collecting and analyzing data on machine operation to minimize risk and improve performance; conducting regular maintenance checks; assessing resources, supplies, and staffing needs; performing demolition of building elements and site cleanup; maintaining up-to-date construction practices and safety procedures; and other related duties considered essential under the ADA. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1-3 years of technical experience, ability to carry 60 lbs, and a valid NY State driver’s license.
