Job Summary
Assist with sampling/test of construction materials (soils, aggregate, concrete) in field and laboratory settings; perform soils/concrete/asphalt testing, observe and monitor construction activities per project specifications, and support other technicians; requires flexible schedule, valid driver's license, ability to lift 10-60 lbs, and reliable vehicle; certifications (ACI, NICET, TxDOT) are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 Years experience minimum
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including overtime
- Ability to lift 10-60 lbs. and work outside for extended periods of time
- Capacity to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Reliable vehicle for field assignments (preferred vehicle: pick-up truck or large SUV)
- 2+ years field and laboratory testing experience (as applicable)
- NICET/ACI/TxDOT certifications preferred
