Job Summary
Construction Materials Testing Technician Level I assists in routine monitoring and testing of soils, concrete, asphalt and other materials, including preparing and transporting samples and reports. Provides support to field and laboratory personnel, transports equipment and documents, maintains a clean work area, and adheres to safety policies. Requires the ability to lift 10–60 lbs, work outdoors, and obtain certifications such as ACI, TXDOT, or NICET (company-funded). Valid driver's license, ability to pass drug/background/fitness checks, and willingness to work weekends or nights as needed. Required Qualifications
- No experience necessary
- Ability to lift 10 – 60 lbs.
- Capacity to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to obtain ACI, TXDOT, NICET or other relevant certifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a drug test, background check and fit for duty test
- Must be willing to work weekends or nights as required by our clients schedule
- High diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to transport materials and perform field/lab tasks
