Job Summary
Prepare proposals using approved formats and obtain project numbers from the Office Administrator after submitting project data and contact information. Assign technicians and designated backups to all projects through mutual agreement with the dispatcher. Continually meet with client and project personnel to assure needs are being met and review, correct, sign, and distribute reports per project requirements. Manage accounts receivable and payable for assigned projects, train technicians on written reports and sample frequencies, and assist in providing a safe work environment. Conduct business development and client retention efforts. This role supports a leading geosciences consulting firm in the Gulf Coast region with over 380 professionals, including engineers and laboratory staff.
Required Qualifications
- Able to read and write in English
- Able to pass a background check
- High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years experience OR Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with minimum of 1 year experience
- Proficient with computers, test programs and Microsoft Office programs
- Capacity to effectively communicate verbally and in writing and a high aptitude for math
- Hold a Texas Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Able to sit for long periods at a time at a desk
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications are a plus, any ACI, any TXDOT and or NICET
