Construction Materials Testing Field Technician 2

Construction Materials Testing Field Technician 2 responsible for performing field testing of soil, asphalt, masonry, concrete, and other construction materials in accordance with procedures. Duties include sampling, observations, transport of samples for lab analysis, documenting field activities and results, pre-task planning, and preparing timely reports. Requires reading and interpreting specifications/drawings, maintaining and calibrating testing equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and collaborating with project teams. Willingness to travel, outdoor work in varied weather, lifting up to 70 pounds, and operating equipment; driver’s license required. Associated responsibilities include potential, but not required, ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I and Nuclear Density Gauge operations. The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and timely delivery of test data and reports; must adhere to safety and quality standards and support laboratory testing when needed.
