Job Summary
Field testing responsibilities include soil and concrete testing for conformance with plans; proctor testing in the lab; hand auger and DCP testing; observing pipe installation and fill placement; field testing of asphalt and base materials; requires travel to out-of-town jobs and 3+ years in construction materials testing; certifications such as ACI, ICC, and Troxler are a plus; must have valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check; proficiency with Word/Excel and ability to work with Atlas staff; expected to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years' experience doing construction materials testing
- Valid Driver's License and able to pass MVR
- Ability to pass background check
- Basic computer skills (MS Word and Excel)
- Willingness to travel to out-of-town jobs
- ACI and Troxler Certification a plus
- ICC Certifications in soils, concrete and asphalt are desired/preferred
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to be outdoors or on your feet for an extended period of time
