Job Summary
Conduct field testing of construction materials including soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring to ensure project specification compliance. Perform specific tests such as slump, air content, and density assessments while operating vehicles safely and adhering to corporate safety procedures. Produce timely detailed reports and communicate daily with dispatch and onsite clients regarding site conditions and test results. Arrive at job sites punctually and maintain an on-call schedule, including overtime and obscure hours, while lifting up to 50 pounds of equipment.
Required Qualifications
- +1 year of experience in Field Construction Materials Testing
- dependable transportation
- valid Driver's License
- ability to pass a DISA drug screen
- ability to pass a background check
- open to overtime
- ability to lift and carry testing equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- ability to maintain an On Call type schedule
- willingness to work obscure hours
Desired Qualifications
- ACI, NICET, or TxDOT certifications
- TWIC card
- truck (for transportation)
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I
- NICET certification
- TxDOT Certifications
- Nuclear Gauge Safety Certification
