Job Summary
Perform field density tests of soils and conduct concrete testing including slump, air content, and strength. Prepare daily reports and perform routine sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt. Work with project managers and senior technicians to ensure specifications are followed while lifting 50-75+ pounds and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. No experience required; in-depth technical training and industry certifications provided upon successful completion of examinations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record for the last 3 years
- Ability to lift 50-75+ pounds
- A strong safety focus
- Attention to detail
- A demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical concepts
- Flexibility to work extended or nontraditional hours as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50-75+ pounds
- Must complete a pre-employment drug screen test
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must complete a motor vehicle report
