Job Summary
Perform on-site observations and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications for reinforced concrete, masonry, and floor flatness. Prepare written daily reports to document findings and follow proper procedures while performing accurate computations. Maintain cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, and contractors. This full-time, permanent role requires working on two projects in the West Georgia area for approximately two years, with employment contingent upon obtaining authorization for restricted access sites. Candidates must hold ICC certifications for reinforced concrete and structural masonry, plus F-number technician certification, and demonstrate the ability to work independently without local supervision in outdoor environments.
Required Qualifications
- ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector certification
- Minimum 2 years of reinforced concrete inspection experience
- ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector certification OR ability to acquire within 8 weeks of start date
- Certified F-number Technician (Floor Flatness/Floor Levelness) certification OR ability to acquire within 6 months of start date
- Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Possess sufficient stamina to work in outdoor (hot & cold) environment
- Employment is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining authorization for work on restricted access sites
- This position is subject to a pre-employment drug and motor vehicle record check
