Job Summary
ICC-certified Construction Materials Special Inspector to perform on-site inspections for reinforced concrete, masonry, and floor flatness, ensuring compliance with project specifications. Responsibilities include on-site observations, preparing daily written reports, performing accurate computations, maintaining professional communication with coworkers, clients, contractors, and others, and working on two projects in West Georgia for approximately two years with potential reassignment afterward. Requires ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector certification, minimum 2 years of reinforced concrete inspection experience, ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector certification (or ability to obtain within 8 weeks), F-number Technician certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months), valid driver’s license, proficiency in Word/Excel, and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Full-time role with a starting wage of $28 per hour depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector certification
- Minimum 2 years of reinforced concrete inspection experience
- ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector certification OR ability to acquire within 8 weeks of start date
- Certified F-number Technician (Floor Flatness/Floor Levelness) certification OR ability to acquire within 6 months of start date
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Possess sufficient stamina to work in outdoor (hot & cold) environment
