Job Summary
The Construction Materials Laboratory Technician will perform asphalt, soil, aggregate, concrete, and material testing, operate laboratory testing equipment, and conduct analyses to ensure data accuracy. Responsibilities include data input for report preparation, equipment calibration, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience, basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel, and hold a certification in construction materials testing.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of construction material lab experience
- Self-motivated and willing to learn
- Ability to read & interpret specifications
- Ability to lift 50 pounds - Will routinely lift and carry materials and equipment
- Must pass background check
- Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- At least one of the following certifications: ACI Aggregate Testing Technician-Level 1, ACI Strength Testing Technician, ATTI Asphalt Testing Technician or equivalent, ATTI Soils and Aggregate Testing Technician or equivalent
