Job Summary
Outdoor Construction Materials Testing Technician role focused on soil, concrete, asphalt, and related materials. Requires effective communication with supervisors/contractors/clients, flexibility for early mornings, some Saturdays, and overtime. Qualifications include High School diploma/GED, 2+ years in construction testing/inspections, and two or more active certifications (ACI, ICC, DOT). The role involves outdoor work, traveling as needed, and operating a company vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction testing/inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials
- Two or more active certifications: ACI Field Testing Grade I; Strength Testing Technician; Laboratory Technician; ICC Special Inspector (Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, Soils); DOT Certifications in Aggregate, Conventional Density, Asphalt, and Concrete
