Job Summary

Outdoor-focused Construction Materials Engineering Technician role performing soil, concrete, asphalt, and other materials testing. Responsibilities include interpreting project specifications, documenting test results, handling field and lab data using Metafield systems, maintaining field/lab equipment, ensuring compliance with IBC guidelines, and communicating project status with supervisors, contractors, and clients. Requires a willingness to adapt schedules (early mornings, some Saturdays, overtime) and travel as needed. Must possess a High School diploma/GED and multiple certifications (ACI Field Testing Grade I; Strength Testing Technician; Laboratory Technician; ICC Special Inspector; DOT certifications). Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction testing/inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials
  • Two(2) or more active certifications: ACI Field Testing Grade I; Strength Testing Technician; Laboratory Technician; ICC Special Inspector (Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, Soils); DOT Certifications in the fields of Aggregate, Conventional Density, Asphalt, and Concrete
