Job Summary
Conduct field or laboratory testing, sampling, and inspection services for construction materials including soils, concrete, and pile monitoring. Coordinate priorities and deadlines with dispatchers while meeting contractors, engineers, and project leaders on job sites to discuss testing procedures. Ensure safe storage, upkeep of nuclear gauges, and operation of all company vehicles and equipment. Submit accurate daily testing and inspection reports while communicating progress or delays to supervisors and onsite clients. This entry-level role in the Rio Grande Valley offers training and is open to candidates with ACI or NICET certification.
Required Qualifications
- Flexibility in work schedule
- Able to work in different environments
- Valid driver's license
- Analyze sample results using simple math
- Must be able to pass drug screening
- Must be able to pass background check
- ACI, NICET certification
- Capable of physically lifting heavy materials and equipment
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing—present ideas clearly and in a professional manner
