Job Summary
Conduct field observations and sample construction materials including soil, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel across regional job sites. Prepare accurate daily logs detailing inspections and test results. Communicate daily with project managers or operations leaders regarding progress and contractor updates. Maintain a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license to travel between locations, adhering to all safety requirements while lifting up to 80 pounds. Utilize a company tablet and MS Office to document work.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable vehicle for field work
- Valid driver's license
- Satisfactory driving record
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 60-80 pounds
- Ability to work in all outdoor climates and mobility over various terrain
- Attention to detail and quality, while adhering to all safety requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office programs
- Ability to perform basic math and use measurement tools
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a technician
- Verifiable certifications such as ACI, NICET, WACEL, etc.
