Job Summary
As a Construction Materials Testing Technician in the Dover, DE office, you will play a key role in field observations at jobsites in the region and the sampling/testing of construction materials (soil, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, structural steel). You will prepare accurate daily logs detailing inspections and results, communicate progress with the PM or Operations Manager, and work independently or with staff on a variety of land development and construction projects. The role involves handling soil and concrete samples, possibly using nuclear gauges, and requires mobility across outdoor environments. Training is provided for reading and interpreting plans and specs, with preference given to candidates possessing certifications such as ACI, NICET, or WACEL. The position supports an ESOP, competitive pay, and varied benefits. The role also emphasizes safety, documentation, and clear communication throughout project activities.

- With training, ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
