Job Summary
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of retail construction projects from pre-construction through store opening. Manage project planning, permitting, budgeting, and risk assessment while coordinating with Real Estate, Design, Operations, and Finance teams. Oversee contractor selection, bid processes, and negotiations to ensure projects meet safety, code, and company standards. Monitor costs, approve invoices, and conduct site visits to track progress and performance. Manage multiple concurrent projects including new stores, relocations, and remodels across different geographic regions. Partner with Operations to support grand-opening schedules and operational readiness milestones.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or other related discipline
- 5-8 years of construction project management experience in retail, commercial, restaurant, grocery, or related sectors
- Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects across different geographic regions
- Knowledge of permitting, contract administration, and construction documentation
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
