Job Summary
Provide construction management services on various projects by coordinating, directing, and monitoring contractor, engineer, and architect activities. Manage project controls, cost, schedule, and performance while ensuring adherence to contractual safety and performance requirements. Serve as the onsite liaison, conduct project meetings, and oversee project logistics and organization. Ensure contractors and engineers follow specifications and manage project closeout for owner turnover. Maintain documentation, administer tracking, and handle multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture
- Extensive relevant construction management experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager
- Ability to handle multiple contractors and multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge and application of construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, engineering/construction principles, techniques, materials, applications, and practices
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with public projects in California
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
- Experience with project-related Construction Management systems
- Certified Construction Manager
