Job Summary
Construction Manager to lead infrastructure modernization projects at the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital (Tampa, FL), overseeing all phases of delivery in an occupied healthcare setting. Responsibilities include planning through final completion, developing schedules and budgets, monitoring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, coordinating architects/engineers/government stakeholders, managing RFIs/change orders/submittals, reporting status and cost analyses, and ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable National Agency Check (NACI)
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum of eight (8) years of Construction Management experience
- Experience managing construction projects involving healthcare facilities, building systems, infrastructure improvements, or federal facilities
- Strong knowledge of Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build project delivery methods
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, quality control programs, and contractor performance
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documentation
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint
