Job Summary
Direct and coordinate all construction activities to obtain optimum efficiency and achieve maximum profits. Develop and maintain consistent construction practices, track productivity data, and create field systems ensuring quality, safety, and accuracy. Manage project managers through quarterly performance reviews and provide technical training and mentoring. Approve Lead Carpenters and Foremen, analyze budgets, and maintain proper risk management controls for internal systems and security. Cultivate labor relationships, ensure compliance with safety policies, and maintain daily journals and procedure manuals to protect future litigation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 4-6 years of management experience
- 4-6 years of experience as a Project Manager
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Solid leadership and organizational skills
- Strong attention to details
- Good math and computer skills
- Written and verbal communications skills
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of residential construction
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of OSHA Safety regulations
- Ability to understand financial statements
- Effective planning and scheduling capability
