Job Summary

Plan, supervise, and coordinate construction activities including quality control, safety oversight, and trade partner management. Manage work against benchmarks, approve payments, and modify schedules based on field conditions to ensure projects complete on time and budget. Direct the home-building process from permitting through delivery and warranty, acting as the primary site representative for customers, government inspectors, and vendors. Stage job sites by sequencing work, verifying prior completion, and managing daily logistics for contractors and material deliveries. Implement company compliance programs and monitor adherence to building codes, environmental laws, and safety regulations. Read architectural blueprints, soils reports, and structural plans to implement adjustments. Communicate with sales, purchasing, and customer care to execute the homebuilding process. Requires 1-2 years of construction experience, proficiency in BuildPro, Hyphen, and Microsoft Project.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of home construction
  • Ability to read understand and implement adjustments to architectural and structural blueprints, off-site improvement plans & soils reports
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes and all scopes of work
  • Familiarity in BuildPro and Hyphen
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project
  • 1-2 years of relevant construction experience or education preferred
  • 1 year of relevant construction experience or assistant CM preferred
  • Bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and balancing
  • Frequent standing and walking, sometimes on uneven and rough terrain
  • Climbing ladders
  • Moving/carrying construction materials and supplies weighing in excess of 50 pounds
  • Tolerance of moderate to very loud noise
  • Tolerance of environmental conditions varying depending on weather, stage of production, and location (hot, cold, wet, dry, muddy, humid, windy, calm, bright, dark, noisy, dusty, poor lighting, poor ventilation, temperature variations, fog, rain)
  • Tolerance of airborne particles such as wood dust, drywall dust, etc.
