Job Summary
Construction Manager for ultra-pure water projects, leading on-site mechanical coordination, startup and commissioning, and management of a mechanical team on hi-tech facilities in Boise. Will oversee installation by subcontractors, coordinate MEP systems with civil/architectural/structural elements, facilitate client trainings on O&M of MEP systems, conduct startup meetings with multiple stakeholders, review submittals and RFIs, perform field surveys, act as technical advisor on site, assist in estimating mechanical budgets, and secure subcontractor contracts and buyouts. Requires five years of mechanical construction experience, cleanroom exposure, proficiency with PC software and construction tech tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Procore, Prolog, P6, Bluebeam, MS Project), and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. The role is based fully on-site in Boise, ID, with a schedule that may extend to accommodate construction sequences. Priority is given to candidates with experience in industrial/hi-tech semiconductor projects and the ability to work under high-pressure conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent field work experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of mechanical construction experience
- Experience in cleanroom environments
- Experience with project management software (Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6)
- Experience with design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks)
- Experience in organizing technical data and CSI specification systems
- Strong command of field leadership and coordination for MEP systems in hi-tech environments
- Ability to coordinate mechanical and electrical system startups and commissioning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate construction schedules
- LEED Accredited Professional or ability to become accredited within 18 months (preferred)
- High School diploma or GED required (plus Bachelor's degree or equivalent)
