Job Summary
Construction Manager based in Paris leads end-to-end delivery of tertiary-sector projects with a strong focus on renovating office spaces, managing projects up to €2M from preliminary design through final acceptance. Responsibilities include relocating workstations, overseeing furniture orders and logistics, coordinating with Facility Management, enforcing safety rules, tracking budgets and schedules, managing risks, coordinating with electrical/HVAC/other trades, maintaining a 3-week rolling schedule, leading weekly contractor meetings, writing minutes, providing client reporting with photos, ensuring quality and HSE processes, handling snag lists and final acceptances, and developing client relationships. Requires autonomy, initiative, and proven ability to manage projects end-to-end; higher technical education and 5–7 years’ experience in construction-related fields; strong writing/presentation skills; fluent English; knowledge of trades and regulatory constraints related to workspace layouts.
Required Qualifications
- Higher technical education (building/energy/electrical/IT, ESTP or equivalent)
- 5 to 7 years of experience in construction/FM/general contractor/client-side project management
- Fluent in English and French
- Independent, meticulous with strong client relations and good communication skills
- Knowledge of workspace layout regulations and technical building constraints
- Experience with project management from planning to delivery and change orders
- Ability to lead meetings, negotiate, and manage risk and budget
